How do Hybread® Dark Green Vegetables compare to Raw, Steamed or Sautéed?
Local fresh vegetables are washed three times and BAKED WHOLE at relatively low temperatures. Lower temperature heating actually unlocks many of the nutrients from the leaves making them more available to you then its raw state. Although there is some reduction of a few nutrients, overall we believe Hybread® vegetables are significantly superior in overall nutrient benefits as compared to eating raw, steamed or sautéed forms where nutrient unavailability, loss in water and high heat decomposition occurs. Also, our process is a defense against life threatening pathogens found in raw produce.
Hybread® vs. Juice
Although juice contains many wonderful nutrients, Hybread® enjoys the same and more. Hybread® veggies are whole and all of the nutritionally important pulp fiber is included.
How much dark green vegetable is in Hybread®?
Bunches and heads. There is so much vegetable, we use no water in our Hybread®. Conventional sandwich breads are about half water.
We only use 100% whole grain flour.
How does Hybread® differ from sprouted grains?
There is no comparison in overall nutrition and taste. Hybread® contains the goodness of a crop growing in the sunshine that provides a rich abundance of nutrition.
